Monster Book of Monsters

**UPDATE** to HP Monster Book of Monsters

I recently created another Monster Book of Monsters, and this time I decided I wanted to add teeth and a tongue.
The only materials I used were Red & White Clay in addition to hot glue to secure them to the book. I will be adding pictures and other instructions soon on the actual shapes of the clay teeth, gums, and tongue.

DIY Picture Frame Shelves

Image of Frame Shelf

One of my favorite DIY's I have pinned on Pinterest have been these cute Frame Shelves Pinned from Shanty-2-Chic Blog. Most of the time when I pin any DIY, My intentions are to actually do them at some point in the future.
I am not going to go over step by step what to do, plus I was a little impatient in creating these cute shelves and I forgot to take photos of each step. So, if you would like a more detailed version of this DIY definitely go check it out the original on Shanty-2-Chic’s Blog. The only thing that really differs theirs from mine is the way I decided to hang mine (I used saw tooth picture hangers) and I did not use a nail gun, so there also was no need for wood filler.  *I tried wood filler to smooth the area around the nail but I found that it was not necessary and just made the area look worse than if I just painted over the nail.*

·      If you do not have any way of cutting your wood, I have seen Home Depot cut wood for people right there in the store. I am not sure if Lowe's does but It could not hurt to ask an employee. It would be best to have all your measurements before hand.

·      If you do not have any frames lying around your house, you can always look for inexpensive frames at stores such as Goodwill, TJ Max, or Marshalls, Etc.

·      I used E6000 Glue on one frame (not shown) because it was not made of wood or even plastic, I am not entirely sure what it is made of but I was unable to nail it to the wood box. E6000 glue was used to adhere the two parts together.

·      If you like the way your frame looks and do not want to paint it, I still recommend you paint the wooden box part. It gives your frame shelf a more finished look. All you would need to do is use painters tape to cover the areas you do not want painted.

Thank you
for this cute awesome DIY!
